When is Spring Training in Arizona?

So, what does “spring” mean in terms of spring training? MLB Opening Day typically occurs in March (March 27th, 2025!), so spring training wraps up before then.

Spring training in Arizona will take place from Thursday, February 20th, to Tuesday, March 25th. If you want to see the very first game, the Los Angeles Dodgers will be hosting the Chicago Cubs at Camelback Ranch to kick off the preseason.
